Advanced Innovative Engineering is set to showcase its new 40S compact Wankel Rotary Engine at the upcoming Nucleus Expo Showcase on 1 March.

The class-leading 40S delivers unrivalled power density thanks to AIE’s patented Self-Pressurising-Air Rotor Cooling System (SPARCS) technology combined with cutting edge design.

The SPARCS enabled 40S engine is thermally balanced, reliable, efficient and clean, lowering the total cost of ownership and increasing endurance. Because of its small size and light weight, the 40S is ideal for small unmanned aerial vehicles, hybrid automotive powertrains and marine applications.

Speaking ahead of the event, Nathan Bailey, Managing Director of AIE, said: “Exhibiting at Nucleus gives AIE a unique opportunity to showcase its latest developments and technology within the amazing surroundings of the MTC, an organisation dedicated to engineering, research, design, development and excellence. Nucleus provides an unrivalled opportunity to interact with a wide range of organisations and individuals, physically showing them examples of our engine technology whilst discussing our vision, applications and future developments. We find nothing engages people better than being able to hold a piece of technology in their hands and discussing it in detail with the people who conceptualised and developed it.”
