INSTITUTION OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERS ANNOUNCED AS A HEADLINE PARTNER OF NUCLEUS 2015
We’re pleased to announce that the Institution of Mechanical Engineers will be a headline partner of Nucleus 2015 on Thursday 19th November.
The Institution of Mechanical Engineers is one of the fastest growing professional engineering institutions. Headquartered in London, it has operations around the world and over 111,000 members in more than 140 countries. These members are working at the heart of some of the most important and dynamic industries such as the automotive, rail, aerospace, medical, power and construction sectors.
As a headline partner, the Institution will be delivering a keynote speech on how engineering businesses can benefit from the organisation’s schemes such as accreditation, events and training. The Institution will also have an exhibitor stand at the event so all visitors will have the opportunity to find out more about how the Institution supports engineering as a whole, and specifically in the Wessex/Hampshire region.
Nick Schulkins MBE Wessex Region Chairman of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers commented: “In parallel to our Wessex Region Engineering Excellence Awards, we’re delighted to be a headline partner for Nucleus. We believe that engineering talent is at the heart of world class innovation and we see enormous potential for Hampshire to be recognised as one of the UK’s most exciting science and technology hubs. We are especially looking forward to seeing some of these emerging technologies first-hand on 19th November.”
