Intellectual property firm announced as a sponsor of the Nucleus start-up zone
Marks & Clerk has been announced as a sponsor of the Nucleus start-up zone at Digital, Wales’ national innovation event.
The intellectual property firm – which helps businesses of all sizes and sectors to commercialise their ideas – is getting behind the next generation of entrepreneurs and innovators in Wales and beyond.
Digital, which comes to Cardiff’s Tramshed Tech on 18th and 19th September, will host 2,000 innovators, entrepreneurs and investors as they come face-to-face with the cutting edge of technology via product showcases and live presentations.
In early 2017, Digital announced it was joining forces with Nucleus, an emerging tech events specialist in its own right. In Cardiff, Nucleus will lead the event’s start-up zone, a space where established personnel can meet the next wave of innovators via interactive workshops, investor roundtables, networking and exhibitions.
Stephen Blake, partner at Marks & Clerk, said:
“We’re delighted to support the Nucleus start-up zone at Digital and plug into such a hugely creative scene. We’re excited to meet lots of new businesses and connect with the next generation of innovators in Wales.”
Nucleus Founder and CEO, Layla-Jane Stacey, said:
“Marks & Clerk is a progressive, relevant and heavyweight addition to the line-up. As an event sponsor, they’ll prove absolutely vital for the young firms and new entrepreneurs who want to make waves in the tech space.
“We couldn’t be happier partnering with the new-look Digital and the addition of Marks & Clerk simply exemplifies the calibre and ambition of our partnership – and for the event – in 2017.”
