MARINE SOUTH EAST TO HOLD A BREAKOUT SESSION ALONGSIDE INNOVATE UK AT NUCLEUS 2015
We’re pleased to announce that Marine South East and Innovate UK will be holding ‘A Catalyst for Innovation and Collaboration’ workshop at Nucleus 2015.
Jonathan Williams, CEO of Marine South East will showcase how the organisation supports innovation and promotes growth with in the marine and maritime sector. Jonathan will be supported by Reddy Devalapalli, Principal Specialist at Lloyds Register, the Southampton based engineering, technical and business services organisation.
David Elson, Lead Technologist in marine & maritime at Innovate UK will be discussing the work it does for science and technology innovation companies with a focus on the marine sector, and highlighting how it can help businesses with upcoming funding and grant schemes.
Marine South East is a not-for-profit organisation interacting with more than 2,000 businesses. It supports a wide range of activities to contribute to the strategic growth of the marine and maritime sectors through consultancy projects, collaborations, European partnerships and strategic projects.
Innovate UK works with people, companies and partner organisations to unearth and drive the innovations that will grow the UK economy. Since 2007 it has invested over £1.5 billion in innovation, matched by a further £1.5 billion in partner and business funding. It has helped more than 5,000 innovative companies in projects estimated to add £7.5 billion to the UK economy and has created 35,000 extra new jobs as a result.
