Marks & Clerk to announce partnership with Nucleus Expo
Marks & Clerk has announced its partnership with Nucleus Expo ahead of the science and technology event’s March 1st West Midlands showcase. Taking place at The MTC in Coventry, the showcase event marks the start of a six date nationwide roadshow designed to galvanise the best in innovation all across the UK.
Marks & Clerk works closely with those SMEs and start-ups which may require patents or trademarks, identifying and advising on patentable innovations. With its extensive expertise in the field, Marks & Clerks also provides consultancy and development strategies.
The firm also advises on patent infringement and the risks ahead when businesses opt to move into a space where patents are held by competitors.
Speaking about the company’s partnership with Nucleus, Marks & Clerks Partner Stephen Blake said: “In an era when investors are becoming increasingly savvy when it comes to IP, patents and trademarks as part of the investment process, we’re delighted to have a platform to meet and advise the best new ideas and businesses. With patents, trademarks and other IP rights in place, start-ups and entrepreneurs are well-placed to safeguard both their market share and revenue streams from competitors – and Nucleus Expo is the perfect platform to plug into a hugely innovative West Midlands scene to impart our experience.”
