NUCLEUS EXPO | 2016 | BEST BITS

Well that’s it for another year! The past weeks have seen the buzz of Nucleus Expo continuing to resonate across the region. The day saw delegates including CEOs, innovators, academics, entrepreneurs and investors from a spectrum of industry sectors come together for one of the richest networking opportunities in Hampshire. We thought we’d share our best bits with you.

“Working in close partnership with Nucleus Expo provided me with a unique opportunity to showcase the vibrant innovation ecosystem centred on the Science Park. Since the 2016 event, I have spoken to many attendees who are now discussing collaboration with other business owners, exploring new markets or negotiating with investors as a direct outcome of conversations at Nucleus. September 21st was a tangible demonstration of the power of networks”

Peter Birkett – CEO of the University of Southampton Science Park

“As a start-up looking to collaborate with healthcare providers to develop new tech, exposure to your markets is essential. The Nucleus Expo was the perfect ground to cross-pollinate ideas with key health stakeholders and help get us a step closer to providing them with the solutions they’re looking for.”

Dilan Pathmajothy – Founder at HiveWire

“I was absolutely inundated by people wanting to talk, learn and collaborate, and I came away with a long list of new contacts and follow-ups. By the end of the day I was both buzzing with exciting possibilities and exhausted by the pace of the whole day.”

Frank Ratcliff – Senior Project Manager at WAHSN

Many of the talks will be going up online in the next few days so subscribe to our YouTube channel to get even more out of the day.

The search is now back on for the most innovative start-ups, businesses and technologies across the South to take their place in the 2017 Expo. If you would like the chance to exhibit for free, please email info@nucleusexpo.co.uk with a 500 word description outlining your technology, what makes it innovative, and what demonstration you could bring to the exhibition.
