SAL SCIENTIFIC’S ‘FROM SCIENCE TO START-UP’ WORKSHOP ANNOUNCED FOR NUCLEUS 2015
We’re pleased to announce that local start-up company, SAL Scientific will be holding a ‘From Science to Start-Up’ workshop at Nucleus 2015 as part of the event’s Life Sciences hub.
The workshop will discuss how Alistair Robertson and Steve Game, co-founders of SAL Scientific, made the transition from scientists to entrepreneurs. They will provide an excellent personal insight into the trials and tribulations of running a business from a scientist’s perspective.
Alistair Robertson, co-founder of SAL Scientific commented: “Making the transition from scientist to business owner was a long process for Steve and I. Thinking as a scientist for the majority of my life and then needing to put on a business head was a challenging concept when founding SAL Scientific. I hope that our workshop at Nucleus 2015 will help those research scientists in the Hampshire region consider starting a business as a viable option”.
